hopewell workshop quilts

Two LA friends make beautiful, simple quilts under the name Hopewell Workshop. The name was inspired by a Native American trade route, and their work has a southwestern plainness to it that I love. It's Americana that's not ironic or cheesy (which is so often the case). Like I said about Denyse Schmidt's modern quilts a while back, you could hang these, drape them on a bed or sofa, or bring them to a picnic.
